This took place on October the 18th 2008 at a new venue near Nuneaton in England. The entry of 1252 (just over a 1000 champions) was down again on previous years, a continuing trend in the UK with all cage birds. The overall winner was Barrie Alexander for the second year running and again with a young Three Parts Dark Corona Hen, the winner of this years Northern gloster.Best Opposite Head was Mick Kelham with and adult Green Consort hen. We finished runner up to Barries Green Hen with a variegated buff corona male, the second time this year.
